How To Clean Suede Leather
Written by AprilIf you simply start scrubbing away at the suede without any understanding of what you are doing you will only ruin it. And of course, suede doesn’t come cheap. So be careful if you decide to do the cleaning yourself. Otherwise it might work out cheaper in the long-run just to get a professional cleaning company to do it for you.
When cleaning dirt off suede leather make sure you allow the leather to dry out thoroughly before you do anything else. You can then go over the suede with a bath towel as this will bring up the nap. If the dirty stains are just small you can use a pencil eraser to rub off the dirt. If there are larger bits of dirt on the suede then you can use a nail file to try and get them off. However do this with care because you could easily cause irreversible damage.
When you have completed the above steps, you can then use what is called a suede brush to brush the dirty area very gently. If the stains on your suede have been caused by oil then you can use a special degreaser that has been specifically formulated for sued leather.
Have a look for suede cleaning kits that include everything you will need for cleaning your suede garments and furniture without you worrying about whether or not you are using the correct products or not.
Another thing you will want to consider is how you are going to help prevent your suede items from getting dirty in the first place. There are suede protectors on the market that can be used for this very purpose. They don’t have to cost a lot of money and will work very well at keeping the suede looking in good condition. There are also waterproofing products which are ideal if you think the suede is likely to get wet at any time.
An additional tip for keeping your suede in tip top condition is to brush the surface with a suede brush on a regular basis. By doing this you will raise the nap and clean it at the same time. Neatsfoot oil compound can also be used on the rear side of the suede as long as the rear side is smooth. It’s a great product for nourishing and restoring your leather products. However make sure you don’t use it on the top of the suede and also just use it on a small area to test it.
Again, please make sure you know what you are doing before you attempt to clean dirt off suede. Make sure any product you use is specifically for suede or untreated leather. If you buy the wrong product you could end up damaging the suede forever. If in doubt take the suede to a professional such as dry cleaner who knows what they are doing.

This will allow us to spot Nation Point Transfers without fail and no longer require us to catch them in the act. We've also got the in-game cheat report function coming soon, as well as a preventative measure for wall hacking that's going to be patched through in the near future, and contacts being worked to employ an anti-hack shield group that should succeed where X-Trap failed.

Some are no longer with the company while others have been moved onto different projects. Korlash, being a Producer, is always on call and doesn't work the same number of hours as the rest of us. Every now and then we have Linus slipping in to help us keep the game running, but he generally doesn't perform GM actions. The US offices handle most of the technical work in keeping the game and website running while the Overseas offices are tasked with running events, aiding customer service, and policing the servers. The US GM team also does those, but our other responsibilities take up a lot of our time.

Thanks for the info. This reminds me of one time when I was little and I mowed the lawn in my sister's suede shoes. After seeing the damage caused by mowing in them I scrubbed them with a wet washcloth and that was the first time I learned that you cannot clean suede that way :)

We've already requested a new update to the tool shortly after the Chaos Expansion was released. We're still waiting. Until we get a new tool, I can't offer a permanent solution to this issue and have to sadly ask you to perhaps wear a hat.

We do have plans to integrate some new gameplay assets, but at the moment, there aren't any efforts to introduce a new server. Right now there are too many, if you ask me. We should prune them down rather than introduce new ones and, to be honest, I'm never really clear as to why players keep asking for new servers.

There haven't been any major reports of users being unable to connect beyond the norm. Whenever a patch causes log in errors, they flood in by the thousands (be it individuals or just a few hundred endlessly spamming us over and over again).
