When you pour the kitty litter over the oily area you should allow it to stay there for plenty of time so that the oil can be absorbed as well as possible.
When it comes to getting rid of all of the oil then you will want to give it a really good scrub by using a liquid detergent for cutting through grease. Just apply the detergent to the affected area and scrub it in with a scrubbing brush. Then use hot water to scrub even more. Once you have done this you can rinse the area with hot water. Make sure you wear protective gloves and avoid using a wire brush because that could damage your driveway.
Hopefully you will now have a really clean driveway free of oil stains. In order to prevent oil stains being a problem in the future always clean them up as soon as you spot them. You can also apply a sealer to prevent the oil from soaking into the driveway. If you suspect that your car is leaking oil you need to take it to a garage to have it fixed otherwise the problem will keep happening.
