Your customers will be seated for most of their time in your restaurant so you need to make them comfortable throughout their stay by having good selection of chairs.
     
Color in your restaurant also plays a role in setting up the ambiance. Neutral and subdued tones are best if you are projecting an elegant ambiance. Loud and contrasting colors are schemes for disaster. They are sore the eyes and do not create a relaxed eating environment. Have your colors blend with the type of furniture you have.
