    Personally, I think interior designers should be well up on ergonomics too. Aesthetics are important but not at the expense of your health. And it is perfectly possible to balance the two. Attend a CPD seminar on ergonomics and combine it with everything else you know.

    I've suffered with RSI and I would personally prefer to work in an ugly comfortable environment than a beautiful, crippling one. But fortunately, I am required to do neither because a balance is possible.
