Forums are a great way to connect to other like-minded people on the internet.  You can chat to others about anything from the latest celeb gossip to health problems.  If you have a website you can even create your own forum where you will allow people to discuss topics on whatever you like.  However you need to be careful of forum spam which is a major problem.
